At AMW, we take pride in offering our customers an innovative and environmentally-friendly recycling service. We understand that in their production processes, waste is commonly generated that can be responsibly utilized. That's why we've developed a recycling system that transforms this waste into valuable resources, helping to reduce their environmental footprint and promote the circular economy.
Brass and Nickel Silver are key materials in our industry and can be recycled indefinitely, making them extremely valuable resources for our industry. This has led to more rational use, the development of efficient technologies, and therefore, a significant contribution to saving limited and non-renewable natural resources.
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in every step of our manufacturing process. Since the late 1990s, at AMW, we have taken significant steps towards a more sustainable future in manufacturing our Brass and Nickel Silver strip products. Among our notable initiatives are:
Exclusive use of secondary materials: We only melt down secondary materials, meaning 100% recycled raw materials, thereby reducing the demand for natural resources.
Renewable energy: We work exclusively with renewable energy providers to minimize our environmental impact.
Waste management: We establish partnerships with our customers for the collection and transformation of waste generated in their production processes, such as stamping, die-cutting, and forming.
Local collaboration: We work closely with local sorting and recycling centers to reduce CO2 emissions associated with logistics.
Continuous innovation: We are gradually eliminating contaminating metals such as lead from our alloys and constantly seeking less polluting solutions to improve the malleability of our products.
Sustainable transportation: We opt for less polluting transportation methods whenever possible, contributing to the reduction of our carbon footprint.
